Comments closedBonus version of a tune I’ve learned up for melodeon.net’s theme of the month, tunes from Turlough Carolan. I wondered if this would fit on a Hero 7 key toy melodeon (get them in toy shops for about £20) and yes, it does.

Comments closedOllie King’s tune, which is tune of the month for July 2023 over at melodeon.net. Quite hard to figure out a way to play this without having the full range of low notes, so I’ve gone for playing it (mostly) in the upper octave.

Comments closedThis cracking tune is a Bruno le Tron composition. I used to play it many, many years ago with GIG CB! – can I still remember it? Well, kind of. Here we go! We used to use this for a Rondeau – it’s a 4 part jig, with an odd little bridge between the 2nd and 3rd parts.
