My contribution to melodeon.net’s theme of the month tune for February 2025; a minor key version of one of those morris tunes that comes up in many, many different versions depending on which dance team you’re listening to. I learned this off the recent Boss Morris album, though I’m not trying to be compliant with their version of the dance.

Played on a Castagnari Giasco I in D/G.

Norbert Pignol’s amazing schottische from his band Dedale. Can’t pretend to get close to Norbert’s level of skill, improvisation, or indeed that little extra little tune that goes on the end of course, but then who can?
