Andy Cutting’s schottische, melodeon.net’s tune of the month for December 2024. A nice “straightforward” schottische played in D minor on a C/F Hohner Pokerwork. It’s originally in A minor, which you can do on the inside row of a D/G, or on the outside row of a G/C. You also have the choice of playing it in the higher register or lower, here I’m in the lower register. You need a low note (B on a D/G, A on an C/F) to make this work – fortunately I have that on this box – a Hohner Club model 1 in C/F.
