Melodeon.net’s tune of the month for June 2024, a jig from north east england. I’m playing it in a major key as normal, and then moving it to a minorised version – because I’m playing on a Bb/Eb Hohner Preciosa, that moves us from Bb to C minor.

This tune is from the playing of swedish pianist Jan Johanssen, from his Jazz pa Svenska album, one of my favourite albums ever. The tune is taken from a swedish traditional song.
