June 2019’s theme at melodeon.net is 48 bar tunes, and here’s one of my favourites. A well known tune, common in sessions, but it’s still one of my favourite things when someone starts it. I’m playing a Hohner Preciosa in Bb/Eb.

This video was recorded at our concert in St Mary and St Giles Church, Stony Stratford in June 2019. The tune is the Liverpool Hornpipe; a traditional tune that we play a bit slower than most. Mark Prescott on violin; Clive Williams on melodeon.
